Seven Seas Choir (云欣合唱团）was formed during the Covid-19 pandemic. In mid March 2020, as all theaters were forced to closed by pandemic, James Chiao’s musical Tenor By Night was also cancelled at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center. To fight back, James decided to write songs to promoting combating covid-19. In end of March, James finished writing In the Name of All Mankind. But as all choirs were also closed, he could not find people to sing this song… That was when the Seven Seas Choir (云欣合唱团）was born. A virtual choir, attracting singers in different cities from the US, Canada, China and Europe, has become a popular virtual choir singing mostly new original songs…
